I experienced several positive impacts as a result of this collaboration, including: 1) Improved communication skills with international scientific peers, international exposure, and facilitated synergies and new opportunities. 2) Advancement of knowledge and skills in biomechanics and inter-disciplinary research that converted into top-tier innovative ideas. 3) Enhanced technical and practical skillset that includes experimental setup development, in vivo chronic and acute electrophysiology, neuronal tracing, histology, intrinsic optical imaging, solid modelling computer-aided design, hardware-software integration, and different anesthesia techniques. 4) Approval of these competencies by the hosting and partner institutions that increased my employability and career prospects within industry and academia. 5) Dissemination of my scientific knowledge across Europe and general public through participations in local academic events.
